During his time as a homicide inspector for the San Francisco Police Department, Falzon was involved in the investigations of more than 300 cases. Some of the most notable included those of the City Hall murders, Zebra murders, the Night Stalker, and the Zodiac killer.

He is currently writing a book that will cover his many years spent catching killers in the City by the Bay.
